In a press release issued on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from Abuja, he also condemned the arbitrary arrests and shootings of law enforcement officials insisting that a peaceful solution is the only solution to the impasse.

Sisiku Ayuk Tabe also accuses the Minister of Defense of having ordered law enforcement and soldiers to fire live ammunition at protesters in the northwestern and southwestern regions.

He estimates that "Ambazonia has recorded 122 deaths, 150 missing persons, 1894 persons injured by bullets or torture, and at least 16,000 displaced persons".

He reports that nearly 40,000 Cameroonian refugees have been registered in the Cross River State of Nigeria in recent weeks. Sisiku Ayuk Tabe invites his brothers to stay united.

"Such cohesion is a prerequisite for realizing the aspirations of the people of Ambazonia and the prosperity of the nation," concludes the separatist.
